Slight Detour

This post is not part fo the MOSES four part series.

As Aaron and I plan and execute farm related matters, work our 40+ hour a week jobs, serve the community in other capacities, etc. we are also preparing for our first and greatest harvest.

At the end of July/beginning of August, we will welcome a baby into our tiny family of three (Cedar, our golden retriever included as one of the three). We are thrilled, to say the least. A friend once told me long ago, “You really like to have a lot of irons in the fire, don’t you?!” I supposed the answer to that is “yes”.

Right now may look like a stressful time to add another HUGE iron to the fire. We don’t feel that way. We are thankful we get to share this new beginning with our child. I will carry this baby while we plant and tend our fields. Once the baby is born, we will continue to carry it to the field with us - taking part in every aspect of the farm. As the berries grow, so will our baby - into a child, teen, and adult. We will mark the years of our farm not just with harvest numbers or plant/business growth, but the growth of our little one.

We are glad you are along for the ride.
